IntraSpace Awarded the NSW Health / Supply & Installation of Clinical Shelving HSSP_HC24_618

NSW Health has initiated a strategic standing offer arrangement under SON ID HSSP_HC24_618 for the design, supply, installation, and project management of Clinical Shelving in public healthcare facilities across New South Wales.

Contract Details

NSW Health will execute standing offer agreements with the successful respondent/s. Eligible Customers within NSW Health will then order clinical storage solutions by issuing a purchase order to their preferred supplier.

Services include design, supply, installation and project management of clinical shelving in storerooms. This may include new build facilities, new fit outs and refurbishments of existing facilities.

The initiative falls under the Fit Out and Interiors category, emphasising modern and adaptable storage solutions tailored to meet the needs of clinical environments. The duration of which is from 1 November 2024 to 30 December 2027.

Scope of Services

IntraSpace is experienced in clinical and commercial shelving solutions and will collaborate with NSW Health to ensure timely, functional, and cost-effective installations across various healthcare facilities.

IntraSpace will manage end-to-end services that include:

Custom design of clinical shelving systems
Supply and delivery of materials and units
Professional installation
Full project management throughout implementation

This initiative underscores NSW Health’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and operational efficiency through intelligent storage solutions in clinical settings.

The HSSP_HC24_618 contract represents a significant step forward in modernising clinical storage across NSW Health facilities. Through the involvement of experienced suppliers, like IntraSpace, and a structured project management approach, this initiative will help optimise space, improve clinical workflows, and support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The installation of the IntraSpace storage system in our redeveloped Emergency Department has been a very positive process. The modular system has improved workflow and we are now reviewing our work practices to capture the efficiencies with improved outcomes. Compliance to Infection Control for both Storage and Handling of Sterile stock and the Victorian Cleaning Standards is being met with decreased resources and man hours due to the efficiencies the system provides.
