Perforated Metal Lockers at RMIT Trades Innovation Centre
RMIT’s Trades Innovation Centre is a state-of-the-art, multi-million-dollar facility designed to support workforce development aligned with the northern corridor’s population growth and infrastructure expansion. The Centre offers industry partners a space to test, experiment, and collaborate, drawing on RMITs expertise to address real-world challenges.
Spanning 1,700 square metres, the modular facility features flexible, multi-use spaces that can be reconfigured as needed. Key elements include a 2.5-metre-deep sand pit, double-height workshop ceilings, and a three-storey training rig replicating an active construction site. Students gain hands-on experience through advanced simulations, cutting-edge equipment, and teaching practices that embed both current and future industry skills.
IntraSpace supplied and installed custom metal lockers with perforated doors. The locking system used were compact digital locks.
