Gold Coast residents will be better prepared to handle emergencies with the establishment of the new Disaster and Emergency Management Centre (DEMC). The Centre will ensure efficient coordination of response and recovery activities among various organizations involved in managing emergencies.
The DEMC has been created with a focus on providing adequate support for the functioning of AIIMS arrangements in an efficient manner. Its design has been tailored to cater to this need, ensuring seamless operation.
AIIMS plays a crucial role in assisting Police and Emergency Services agencies, alongside other Local Government Agencies and the Australian Defence Force. The design of the DEMC is a crucial element in ensuring that all staff and agencies working in the center can maintain situational awareness effectively.

This specific model features a stainless steel casing that provides 80 lbs. of holding force, making it suitable for small access control applications.
