Hoop City – Custom Sports Lockers | Port Melbourne

Hoop City partnered with IntraSpace to design, supply, and manufacture custom sports lockers for their new state-of-the-art facility in Port Melbourne.

Working closely with the Project Team, we delivered a premium locker solution tailored to the needs of elite basketball players. Each locker features interchangeable nameplates to accommodate visiting teams, padded seating, integrated LED strip lighting, soft-close shoe drawers, custom-height bases, gas-lift top cupboards for valuables, and power outlets for charging devices.

The project included two separate changerooms — each with 15 lockers and four open cupboards — finished with alternating Hoop City logo decals, matte black clothes rails and hooks, and a striking floor-to-ceiling woodgrain finish. Coordinating storage cupboards and bulkheads completed the cohesive, high-end look.

The installation of the IntraSpace storage system in our redeveloped Emergency Department has been a very positive process. The modular system has improved workflow and we are now reviewing our work practices to capture the efficiencies with improved outcomes. Compliance to Infection Control for both Storage and Handling of Sterile stock and the Victorian Cleaning Standards is being met with decreased resources and man hours due to the efficiencies the system provides.
