Flexible Employee Lockers at Joan Kirner Hospital
The Joan Kirner Hospital is a multi-story facility featuring 20 maternity delivery rooms, 237 beds, 39 special care nursery cots, four theatres and additional clinics. Due to be completed in 2019, the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital caters for the growing needs of Melbourne’s west, which is currently experiencing significant growth.
IntraSpace was pleased to be involved with this project and to deliver the 5th Locker project for Lend Lease. All lockers are fitted with the Digi 4 locks, that allow all lockers to be freely used by staff with a 4 digit code. This allows for more of a ‘hot locker’ scenario than having a dedicated locker per staff member. Most lockers were built in with bulkheads and some included the integrated shoe box and bench out the front. All wardrobes were fitted out with IntraMed Custom Wire Baskets on pull out runners.
