Supply and Installation of Low Height Laminate Lockers

IntraSpace collaborated closely with Magellan Projects to deliver a tailored locker solution for the new Learning and Administration Centre at MacKillop College – St Mary’s Campus. From design to manufacture, and installation, every detail was considered to ensure the lockers complemented the building’s modern, student-friendly environment.

Low-height laminate lockers were installed across both the ground and first floors, seamlessly integrated into the open common areas. Each unit features compact laminate doors with Sublime Teak finish with matching edging, bringing warmth and texture to the contemporary interior design. Inside, a fixed shelf provides practical storage, while a padlock hasp locking system ensures security and ease of use for students.

The overall design was thoughtfully planned to maintain a spacious, light-filled atmosphere throughout the building. To achieve this, the locker height was intentionally kept low, allowing for unobstructed sightlines across adjacent rooms and open common areas. This design approach preserves a sense of openness and connection while maximising natural light and visibility toward the surrounding windows.

The result is a clean, cohesive, and durable storage solution that blends functionality with style, enhancing both the visual appeal and usability of the new education space.

The installation of the IntraSpace storage system in our redeveloped Emergency Department has been a very positive process. The modular system has improved workflow and we are now reviewing our work practices to capture the efficiencies with improved outcomes. Compliance to Infection Control for both Storage and Handling of Sterile stock and the Victorian Cleaning Standards is being met with decreased resources and man hours due to the efficiencies the system provides.
