Custom built-in library shelving with static and mobile shelving at Parramatta Library
The Parramatta Library will be the home of a world-class public library, with study areas and 24/7 book return facility. It offers an extensive book collection and a wide range of digital resources to meet the needs of local communities. It is now the permanent home of the City of Parramatta Library.
IntraSpace worked extensively over a couple of years with DesignInc Sydney to fully design the custom built-in library shelving. The design incorporates static and mobile shelving, along with custom red colour shelves, hidden castors, bulkheads with LED lights, to name a few. The kids’ area boasts plywood shelving with acrylic book tubs and slatwall displays.
The Head Contractor on the project, Built, awarded this contract to IntraSpace to fully design, supply and install. This $430K package was delivered on time and in budget for the client.
